Amid rising tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, reactions are emerging in India as well. In this context, Imam-e-Juma of Dargah Masjid on Pachkuian Road, New Delhi, Syed Hasan Rasul Numa, has appealed to the Government of India to play a role in stopping the war.
The Imam has written a letter to India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, urging India to take diplomatic initiative and engage with all sides to prevent further escalation. According to him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a globally respected leader, and if he takes the initiative, countries around the world could come together to push for peace talks.
